Check-in is possible daily between 12:00 and 18:00. If you’ll be arriving earlier or later, please get in touch with us in advance – we’re happy to arrange a flexible solution for your arrival.
By what time should I check out?We kindly ask our guests to vacate the room between 10:00 and 10:30 on the day of departure. Of course, you’re welcome to leave your luggage with us afterwards and enjoy Bolzano at your leisure before continuing your journey.
How far is the hotel from the centre of Bolzano?You can reach the historic centre of Bolzano in just 15–20 minutes on foot, walking along the picturesque Talvera promenade – a beautiful stroll through the greenery that’s already part of the holiday experience. By car, it’s only about 5 minutes away.
We’re arriving by train or plane: how far are Bolzano railway station and the airport?Bolzano railway station is about a 7-minute taxi ride away, and Bolzano airport is roughly 15–20 minutes away. Should you need any assistance in arranging a transfer, please feel free to contact us before your arrival.
Is there parking at the hotel?Yes, complimentary parking is available for our guests directly at the hotel. In addition, we offer a free underground garage with a limited number of parking spaces, allocated subject to availability. We therefore recommend requesting a parking space when booking.
Where is the nearest EV charging station?The nearest public charging station for electric vehicles is about a 5-minute drive away. At reception we’ll happily provide you with the exact address and information on further charging points in Bolzano.
Are pets and dogs allowed at the hotel?Four-legged companions are welcome upon prior request. Please let us know when booking, so that together we can find the best arrangement for you and your pet.

Does the hotel have Wi-Fi?Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout Hotel Hanny. You can stay easily connected during your stay – whether to plan tomorrow’s tour or to make a quick call home.
Breakfast, bar & dining What are the breakfast hours?Our hearty breakfast buffet is available daily from 07:00 to 10:00. You can start your day at your own pace – whether early before a hike or at leisure on a relaxing morning.
Do you cater for food intolerances, vegetarians and vegans at breakfast?Our hearty breakfast buffet is carefully designed so that every guest can find something to enjoy. A dedicated corner is reserved for gluten-free products. Vegetarians and vegans will find fresh fruit and vegetables, homemade jams, plant-based milk and a selection of further plant-based products. For specific intolerances or allergies, please let us know in advance – we’ll do our best to accommodate your individual needs.
Is there a bar at the hotel?A self-service bar is available to you 24/7 at Hotel Hanny. You can help yourself to drinks and light refreshments at any time – also after a long day’s hiking or a late evening in the old town.
Sports & activities Do you offer a bicycle rental service?We provide our guests with city bikes free of charge, on request and subject to availability – ideal for exploring Bolzano and the many cycle paths in the surrounding area. We don’t offer mountain bike or e-bike rental ourselves, but we’ll be glad to point you to specialised rental shops nearby.
Which hikes can be reached on foot directly from the hotel?The location of Hotel Hanny is a true paradise for walkers and hiking enthusiasts: countless trails and promenades begin right on the doorstep – from the Talvera promenade and the Oswaldweg to the trails through the vineyards of St. Magdalena. Margot, Karl, Anna and Josef will gladly share personal tips on the most beautiful routes around Bolzano.
Are mountain hikes in the Dolomites also easy to reach?Yes, Hotel Hanny is the ideal starting point for mountain lovers. Numerous stunning mountain hikes, including hikes in the Dolomites, can be easily reached within a 30–45-minute drive. We’re also happy to help you choose a personalised hiking tour tailored to your abilities and interests.
